Going to give it a try

Well I have finished the first course on Coetail and it has been quite a journey. For me I think the most important aspects of this adventure have been talking to people in a similar situations and gaining the impetus to give some of these things a go.I have chosen to look at a unit of study that I am currently working on, so I can try and implement my idea. The unit is a film unit, where the pupils create amazing final pieces of film media. These have previously been kept in house with some being shared in assembly. I would like the pupils to share their final products with a larger audience to get more authentic feedback.However, I am also aware that some pupils will not want to share and I need to respect their feelings, as I think there must be mutual trust for ideas like this to work - so in reality who knows how this will go!I would also like them to improve their critiquing skills and I think critiquing actual work and using social media to connect with authors and directors will be interesting. In the end it will be a great learning experience for me and the pupils. If I am totally honest that is the most exciting part, not quite knowing how it will go!On of the hardest things for me was writing the lesson plan!
